Last Saturday it was veryyyyy windy and rainy. We went to the beach. The reason we went to the beach was because that morning around four a.m. Lyle had gone out and caught seals for us to dissect. There was a boy seal and a girl seal. I got to help with the girl seal. We had to cut of the head first. Then They took out the insides. such as the spleen, the heart, the liver, kidney, and lungs. Then we had to cut the ribs out and everything else until we just had to get the fat off of the skin. Overall i think that this experience taught me a lot and I'm very glad that I had the chance to do this.

SANDY BEACH!!!!!!!!!

Sooo yesterday our camp went to sandy beach. We went there to have a BBQ and to take a walk and make waypoints. We walked all around the A.J. mine and saw some really beautiful sights and surroundings. Then we went back and started eating food. We had fry bread with beans and meat and cheese. I ate with Jessica, Crystal, Jauger, and Tuey. It was a very interesting experience. It was very interesting because Crystal has this huge obsession with cheese, so every time she took a bite of food she got cheese all over her face. Jauger and Jessica were cracking up from my point of view it kind of grossed me out a little bit. But I guess it was a little funny.
After that everybody got together and divided out the drums that we had and started a drum circle. We did the drum routine that Lyle had taught to us, so that was really fun. Then we ate cake. Then on the way to the bus some drama started. When we got on the bus, everybody sat down and then a couple people started yelling and cussing at each other. A physical fight was just about to start, but then the chaparones got on and broke it up. We went to the recreational center and and did our art classes. Then we went back to the dorms and went to bed. Overall it was a fun experience.

New friends.

I love how your parents make you do something you really don't wanna do and you come to like it because you make new friends and have a good time. The best part about going out and doing something new is you meet new people and you get to know new people. Meeting new people is so fun. Meeting new people makes you more social and lets you get out more and want to do more things more so you can meet more people. I for one love meeting new friends. I'm always into meeting new people and adding another person to my social life and having another good friend. I'm a shy person until i start to break my shell and meet new people. Making a new friend is like eating a new food. You'll never know what its like until you get to know it, or for food wise try it, so get out and try a new food, or get out and make a new friend. It always makes you feel better.

Mt. Roberts

Soooooooo, last friday our camp got to go on a field trip! WE got to hike Mt. Roberts. The best part about that was that it was the first really rainy day that we had had in a while, and since we all thought that it was gonna be sunny we didn't have our raincoats. What fun. (I'm being sarcastic by the way.) So not only did we have to hike up a mountain we had to do it in the cold and rain. When I got to the top of the mountain i was soaked through to the skin and most likely hypothermic. Nikki made it to the tram probably about ten minutes before me. I was really proud of myself that I was one of the first people there. Especially since I have exersice induced asthma. After everyone got up there we got ready to eat. I sat at a table with Nikki, Lono, and Marie. We were all freezing so we ordered hot chocolate to warm up. While we were at the tram we got an amazing surprise. WE got free nano video i-pods!!! After that we went down the tram(Thank God!) and ran to the bus. Overall i actually think that this experience made me stronger and showed me that I am stronger than I think.

Wierdness

Moooooostache!

Mooooustaches :) are cool. They have big ones, little ones, fat ones, skinny ones, curled ones, cat ones, long ones, shorts ones, and hairy ones. They are totally legit, and fun. My favorite mustache would be the ones that come out and curl up. SOOOOO HOT! If i ever had a boyfriend that had a intense lone bushy mustache i would probly make him shave it off, because when you kiss a guy with a one it tickles your face. Doesn't feel right. Jauger has a moooooustache, so does Mr.Good. Haha!

So Lemons... Did u know that lemons have feelings to. I mean think how sad it makes them feel when they are just taken for granted. Like the saying "when life gives you lemons make lemonade" Lemons are realllly sour and make really good lemonade but think about it, when you slice a lemon in half think of that poor lemon crying. Poor lemon. Lemons are people to. Think about it when your cut it open that, that very lemon had a family just like you. Would you wanna get sliced and made into humanmade? Didn't think so.

Hola, This is Nikki and Galen and we are going to be random. I doubt we'll be snarky unless it's "that time of the month" so anyways. We are both 15 and VERY random!!!!! Sooooo anyways we are both at this native camp and we dance around acting crazy with drums! WE made a new friend yesterday. His name was Logan, and he's Nikki's new number 1 baby. Soooo anyways we swhould probably tell you what snarky means. It means being the "slang" term for female dog, towards someone with a hint of scarcasm and humor. Pretty cool huh.

So yesterday we went on a boat. "I'm on a boat....."good song. Ya we went on the Catamaran to Taku river. It was pretty amazing. Excapt for the boat made Galen a tad seasick. But we wont go into that. So after about five minutes of being on the boat, we had to go downstairs and get welcomed. A lot of people spoke and told stories. Then we ate. The food was nummy. After that everyone just wandered. Finally we got to the Taku river and low and behold three killer whales popped up. They we majestical. Then we had to dance on a boat! I dont know about you guys but i think it's kind've hard to dance on a moving boat. Then we went back to Juneau and ate dinner. Then we went to SLEEP!!!
